Job Title:

Tennis Coach (Working across three venues & local schools)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Tennis Coach to join our team and work across three venues and local schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality tennis coaching sessions to players of all ages and abilities. The candidate will work closely with the venues to ensure the smooth running of coaching programs and the delivery of excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise, and deliver tennis coaching sessions to players of all ages and abilities across all programs.
• Develop lesson plans that are engaging, challenging, and tailored to the needs of individual players or groups.
• Provide feedback and advice to players to help them improve their game and achieve their goals.
• Assess players’ strengths and weaknesses and develop strategies to improve their performance.
• Communicate regularly with players, parents, and venue staff to ensure the smooth running of coaching programs and to maintain excellent customer service.
• Monitor the progress of players and provide regular feedback to parents and venue staff.
• Work collaboratively with other coaches and venue staff to ensure that coaching programs are integrated and complementary.
• Promote tennis coaching programs and services to increase participation and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a tennis coach, working with players of all ages and abilities (preferable, not essential).
• LTA Level 3 coaching qualification
• LTA Accredited 
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with players and parents.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and deliver coaching programs across multiple venues.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
• A passion for tennis and a commitment to helping players of all levels achieve their goals.
• A clean driving license and access to a car is essential.

This is a self employed position.  Pay is £25 per hour.  There are 15 group coaching hours per week available immediately and we are looking to grow the programme to provide more sessions with help from the right candidate.  The opportunity to provide and grow private coaching sessions is available across our venues.
